Diamond Recs- Now you can make those tough elongated diamond units needed for any Storm at Sea project with ease and success. But remember, this is a basic unit that can combine with any of the other fundamental units to create many, many other interesting designs and quilt projects. You'll precision cut the center diamond, then sew on side triangles to create an oversized unit that you'll trim down to the perfect size. What to bring:
~ Sewing Machine in good working Order, with fresh needle (extra needles)
~Small cutting mat and rotary cutter with sharp fresh blade, straight edge small cutting ruler 4 1/2 x 18"
~Thread and 4 fat quarter scraps
~Fine Fabric Marking Pencil
~Magic Wand (Studio 180 for marking's can be purchased at the shop)
~Snips/small scissors
~Studio 180 Corner Beam Tool (contact shop to purchase yours if you do not have one, with 10% off with sign up of class)
When signing up these classes, please note you MUST own your own ruler. No sharing a friends. The designer has expended many hours calculating precisely size and markings to ensure you get precise blocks every time. These hours, plus the cost to have “demo rulers” to “test” them is time and money. So, let’s please ensure we show our appreciation and purchase and buy our own patterns and rulers
